Emer Daly

Emer Daly is a Certified Pickleball Instructor and a Montgomery County, Maryland Pickleball Ambassador. Since discovering the sport in 2016, she has earned four US Open medals at the highest amateur level. One of her fondest on-court achievements was placing fourth in her first APP Senior Pro Women's Doubles tournament in Florida.

After becoming a certified instructor in 2018, Emer began teaching for both the City of Rockville and Montgomery County Recreation. Together with her partner Rob, she co-founded MoCo Pickleball, helping build one of the county's most active and successful instructional pickleball programs. Today, MoCo Pickleball operates year-round instructional programs across seven recreation centers throughout Montgomery County.

Since 2021, Emer has also served as the teaching professional at Westleigh Country Club, where she helped develop the club's pickleball program from the ground up. She leads multiple popular ladder leagues, clinics, ladies' social leagues, private lessons, and special events, and has become known for creating a welcoming, engaging, and fun environment for players of all levels.

Emer's greatest passion is helping players discover a place within the game, regardless of skill level or experience. Nothing is more rewarding to her than introducing new players to pickleball, watching their confidence and abilities grow, and seeing them embraced by the pickleball community.
